A Sketchbook Project
As a self-initiated project, I challenged myself to draw the same object twice — first as a straightforward contour drawing and then as a blind contour, where I wasn't allowed to look at the page as I was drawing. I was pleased with the abstract line art, but much more so when I took them into the computer and added color. I felt like I was on mushrooms. Or, I mean, so I would imagine being on mushrooms.
